History: Born to Emily and Gerard - the happy baby girl who was always all smiles and always friendly, even to strangers. She Is the only Child Gerard Has which is why he is so protective of her. Up until she was three, Bandit had a pretty normal childhood but then the screams came and the loud noises started.
She doesn't remember much, if anything, about the blasts that destroyed the world, but she does remember crying for her mother for quite a long time. She also remembers watching her dad cry like his soul had been ripped out of his chest when they couldn't find her mother after being released to the surface again and that memory, above all, still hurts her to think about. Not the loss of her mother but the loss of a part of her dad. Despite the crushing realization that the woman he loved was dead, Gerard was always a great father to Bandit and she never felt handicapped by only having one parent. In many ways she was the luckiest girl in the world.
She doesn't really realize that her little theory about her mother still being alive might hurt her father every time she yammers on about it. And the letters she writes to her dead mother, even though there's nowhere to send them, are an almost daily occurrence.
As her father, uncle, and honorary uncles formed the Fabulous Killjoys and began causing problems for the bad guys, Bandit was always left behind in the care of some goodhearted outlaws. On one of the rare days that she was allowed to ride with the gang, she was at her happiest and almost bursting with joy - until the men in the vampire masks showed up. Frightened and unsure of what to do, she simply tried her best not to cry and when she saw the evil men kill her friends and severely injure her dad, Bandit simply grew furious more than anything else.
She was kidnapped by those men that day, but she made it pretty damn tough for them. Struggling, punching, screaming and breaking as many things as she could, she was simply trying to buy her father time - she knew that he was still alive, just like she knew her mother still was. And she knew that he would always come for her. When the Killjoys showed up to collect her at the BL/ind headquarters, Bandit simply grinned knowingly at her watcher.
Because they were coming.
And the Killjoys were going to kill them all.
At first, things went just as she expected them to. She was in her father's arms again, and the world was set right if only for a moment until all the lasers went off, and she got scared again. There were too many vampires and not enough heroes. So Bandit simply stood as still as possible under her father's instruction, covered her ears, and tried to stay quiet. That was until she watched her father being shot in the throat and that was when she started to scream.
She watched her uncle die next. Her lovely, funny uncle who would always make her laugh and sneak her sweets when her father said no.
In that moment she flashed back to her father crying about the loss of her mother, and Bandit finally understood what he was going through but she didn't have enough time to grieve, because Frank and Ray were still fighting to save her and ushered her out of the building until Frank shut the door behind her, and turned to hold the vampires off. This wasn't right - everyone was dying because of her - but she was still frightened enough to want to get away.
Under Ray's protection, Bandit managed to be pulled into a van full of the Outlaws that cared for her while the boys were out causing trouble for BL/ind but she didn't miss the last of her boys being gunned down as they sped away. Bandit stopped her Aunt going after her father's and uncles killer's she didn't want to and couldn't handle losing anyone else, so she just cried in her aunt's arms.
