Elena hummed softly as she drove back, just a few more minutes and she would be back in Damon's arms. The steering wheel jerked suddenly.... "Oh thats not good..." She said as she battled to keep it in control, she had just about managed to keep it in a straight line before the car was hit at high speed by another car. Elena's car flipped several times before it smashed through the barrier of the bridge and into the water. The car filled up with water quickly and Elena couldn't get out, the doors were jammed shut. She tried the brake the glass but it wasn't having it, every hit was getting weaker as her lungs filled up with water and she lost consciousness.

Elena really should Have known Bandit didn't know how to keep her mouth shut and soon after she threw her phone she picked up her phone and texted Damon telling him Elena had left the hospital

"I'm going to kill her......" Damon muttered when he read the text message from Bandit. He hadn't got far with his vampire speed before he saw the the damage the car had caused, he recognized Elena's scent instantly "Elena!......" Without hesitation he jumped in the water to get her out.

'' Come On Damon .....'' Bandit muttered to herself after not hearing anything for nearly half hour she snuck out to figure things out for herself

Damon managed to get her out of the car, carrying her lifeless body. He laid her gently on the ground, trying to get her to breathe. "Come on Elena....."
"Tell me she isn't......"

"I gave her enough to heal her, not turn her......" Damon said as he held Elena.
"No......" Bandit said "She's not gone...... she can't be....."

Bandit cried into Damon's already wet shoulder.
Elena stirred slightly, she could hear bandit, she was crying....... why was she crying, and why was she all wet?

Elena opened her eyes, she coughed up the remaining water what was in her lungs. "Damon...."
